Conclusion

Overview: The scientific study of Earth is based on direct observation of land forms and materials that make up Earth's surface and on the sample evidence we have of Earth's interior. By studying this evidence, we discover patterns in the nature and distribution of Earth's materials, and in the kinds of changes that take place. This knowledge can be used in developing models for geologic structures and processes models that help both scientists and students enlarge their understanding of their observations, and guide further investigation and research.

Outcomes: After doing your research and sharing it with your group, you should have learned that people with different objectives often come to different conclusions.

Did you find "the perfect solution" - the one that fully pleased everyone? If not, do you think it's possible? If you said no, you're right! There is never a perfect answer; however, you will often discover that there are good, workable, alternatives.

If your group worked together, and considered everyone's side of the story, you should have been able to come up with a reasonable way to protect and improve the soil sustainability of
this very important parcel of land.
